Waking up in Southampton to rain sprinkles. Slept pretty well, 2 melatonin; one at 8 pm and another at 2:00 am.

Showered and dressed, we went for a walk and returned to breakfast. The full English breakfast is great! Add a grapefruit juice and decaf tea. I need to blog about fried toast!

The taxi was prescheduled following an hour long walk to The Commons. Lots of runners, cute dogs and a boomerang guy. Joe needs one,)

The taxi is quick to carry us to the port. We slide through the process, have our photo i.d.s taken and file on board.

'Sail Away' well drinks means Sauvigon Blanc and johnny Walker Black and a chicken salad prepare us for the unpacking process,
And muster drill.

A bit stormy outside so we settle for a coffee and it's time to dress for dinner. We meet a couple from Winston Oregon named Kathy and John James. He's a farmer and she a retired RN who now is a wedding planner. They know the Hobis. We were lucky to get a great table for four in the Coral, #382.
We glimpsed a island lighthouse and a castle!

Good dinner, Salmon for me, fruit platter and greens with balsamic. A Wild Horse Pinot Noir is perfect!
Dan asks for the Steak and Onion pie, shrimp cocktail and fruit balls in a rose liquor.
Dessert for Dan is a flourless chocolate cake and a chocolate hazelnut soufflé for me.

Then to the piano bar and bed to check on Hurricane Irma. It's rocking here too.
